Monday Recap

I hope you made it to Third Format this weekend, because it was pretty awesome. We continued in our series The Reel Story of Christmas, where we are looking at classic Christmas movies and tying them back to the real story of Christmas. This past weekend we looked the 1946 original classic, It's A Wonderful Life. In this movie George Bailey tries to commit suicide on Christmas Eve when an angels intervenes. George is granted the gift of seeing what the world would be like without him in it. He then realizes that he truly has a wonderful life. Jeremy read from Matthew 1:18-25, which is the Birth of Jesus. Jeremy summed everything up by saying "Life’s never more wonderful than when divinely interrupted." Romans 8:28 “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”

In his message Jeremy used a choose your own adventure book, called The Abominable Snowman, as an example. If you would like to embark on this adventure or get the book as a Christmas present for someone, click here.

We also added a new song from the David Crowder Band called Alleluia Sing to our worship set. This song comes from their latest album called Church Music, which contains other songs we do such as: How He Loves, Can I Lie Here, and SMS Shine. IF you would like to gift this item as well click here.
